My journey with nails began when I was just 11 years old in Brazil. What started as a passion quickly became a lifelong career. I spent countless hours learning, practising and perfecting my skills, fascinated by how beautiful, healthy nails could transform a person's confidence.

Over the years, that passion grew into more than just a profession it became my purpose.

A Dream Bigger Than Borders

In 2015, I left Brazil and moved to Australia in search of new opportunities and a better future.

Like many migrants, I arrived with big dreams, limited English and no guarantee of success. Starting over in a new country was challenging, but I was determined to build a life doing what I loved.

I began working as a nail technician, meeting incredible clients who supported me from the very beginning and helped me build my reputation within the local community.

Building Daline Nails

2015 to 2020

Through hard work, dedication and word-of-mouth referrals, I built my business from the ground up.

What started in a small rented room eventually grew into my own nail salon, Daline Nails, located in Dee Why on Sydney's Northern Beaches.

For years, I had the privilege of helping thousands of clients feel confident and beautiful while creating long-lasting relationships that extended far beyond nails.

Many of my clients became friends, and many still support me today.

More Than 20 Years Of Nail Experience

With more than 20 years of hands-on experience, I have worked with every type of nail condition imaginable.

From nail biters and damaged nails to splitting, peeling and ridged nails, I saw first-hand the challenges people face when trying to maintain healthy natural nails.

The more clients I treated, the more I realised there was a gap in the market for a product that truly cared for the nail itself not just its appear

When everything changed

After years of exposure to harsh chemicals used in artificial nail systems, I developed severe dermatitis and allergic reactions on my hands.

The itching, pain and skin irritation became so intense that I questioned whether I could continue working in the industry I loved.

It was one of the most difficult periods of my career.

But instead of giving up, I decided to search for a solution.

Creating Magic Pen

2019 - First package ( Envelope)

First deliveries - Going to people's house during COVID.

After years of testing, learning and refining the formula, Magic Pen was launched to help people care for their nails and cuticles every day.

A Small Brand With A Big Heart

During the early days, I personally packed orders, delivered products and built the brand one customer at a time.

Some of my first deliveries were made by bicycle during lockdowns, driven by a belief that people deserved access to better nail care.

Every order represented a customer placing their trust in my vision.

My goal was simple: create a daily nail treatment that focused on improving nail health, not simply covering nail problems.

Today, Magic Pen is stocked in pharmacies across Australia and continues to help people improve the appearance of dry cuticles, damaged nails and everyday nail concerns.

What started as a personal challenge became a mission to help others feel confident in their natural nails.
